[A Prima Proof editor] has worked on two very large projects. The first was a dissertation. She had many rules to follow and her knowledge about the APA writing style was excellent. The other project was a professional article. Again her editing skills were excellent and she has the ability to grasp the essence of what is being written. Both projects required her to quickly understand the content and to do more than just proofreading.

	Rates for the Academic Community
	Our rates are reasonable and competitive. Specific rates for your project are negotiated and verified prior to beginning the project. Because every manuscript is unique, our rates fluctuate with the services provided but in general run as follows.

	Citation Style Support Citation Style Support starts at $30 per page of reference list, and includes the in-text citation correction and cross-reference. Formatting Formatting starts at $3 per page or, depending on the service you need, may be charged at $30 per hour. The hourly rate is used if you elect to have only a portion of your manuscript formatted, such as just tables or figures. Per-page rates are based on a 12-point font and double-spaced page. Editing Editing starts at $3 per page for Level I, $5 per page for Level I with Critique, the level most students prefer, $7 per page for Level II, and $10 per page for Level III. The per-page rates include up to three editing rounds for Level II and Level III. Additional editing rounds can be negotiated. If, after evaluating a manuscript, we feel it is in need of a more advanced level of service than originally requested, we will provide a thorough explanation of why you would benefit from more extensive work, as well as a complimentary sample of your work edited at the recommended level. It is your decision whether or not to accept our recommendations. Rates are based on a 12-point, double-spaced page. Transcription Transcription starts at $40 per transcribing hour. Generally, one hour of recording takes five hours to transcribe, but this will vary depending on the recording quality, transcript format, number of participants, and other factors. We are happy to provide a not-to-exceed quote. If your research is on audio tapes, we must transfer it to digital files before we can begin transcribing. Transfer rates are as follows:
		• $25 for up to 3 hours of recorded material • $50 for 4-6 hours of recorded material • $75 for 7-9 hours of recorded material
