A writer colleague recommended [Prima Proof] to me as a transcriber. [A Prima Proof transcriber] transcribed a number of long interviews for me, which involved two people plus the interviewer. She has an excellent ear for dialogue, and had the extremely important skill of being able to punctuate interviewees’ comments to make all the material— including people breaking into each others’ thoughts— easily intelligible. She also exercised fine judgment in eliminating material that wasn’t relevant to the subject of the interview. The quality of her work was excellent overall and her fees quite reasonable.

Editing

Level I: We correct those small but important spelling, grammar,
punctuation, and usage errors that are so easy to miss.


Level I with Critique (the level most students prefer): We correct for everything a Level I includes, but also provide a line-by-line critique of your work, leaving it to you, the expert, to address any issues we identify.

Level II: We combine a Level I edit with thorough work on awkward
sentence structure and minor organization problems.

Level III: We combine a Level II edit with extensive rewriting and
organizing to ensure optimal readability and flow. Level III is not available for student documents.
