  Tip of the week

When citing literature, it is always best to use the printed version instead of the electronic version.

Why?

The purpose of accurately citing sources is to tell readers where to find the literature the author used in his or her research. Citing electronic sources causes problems because websites often rearrange site content. This can change the file path of cited articles, making it difficult if not impossible for readers to access the same information.

Consider that most credible documents will be published on paper as well as electronically. If your source is worthy, you should be able to find the paper version and cite it.
